Surprised that REDD-Monitor never heard of the Konashen community owned Conservation Area, inn the far south of Guyana, where the Waiwai people of Masakenare Village are responsible for a bout the same size as that in the Guatemala story. Why don’t you check this with the Protected Areas Commission, which was in the local news today.
